JONATHAN 2015: ON INTOLERANCE AND LEVEL OF IMPUNITY IN NIGERIA

A comment on Mercy Ugo’s wall:

” When Ali Modu Sherif decamped from the APC to the PDP recently, the President organised a welcome party for him. His private jet was allowed to land in a closed Maiduguri airport and 200 soldiers were given to him to enable him visit a bereaved friend in Maiduguri. Whoever is not working for President Jonathan’s 2015 ambition is a sinner and must be dealt with at all costs.

These are further proofs of lack of management skill and barrenness of ideas. Victimization cannot replace law. If a court judgement is to be obtained tomorrow, should the execution of the order be done before the pronouncement? Such order must be a judgement without process or trial and that speaks volumes of the level of impunity in governance in our land. Tambuwal is Speaker of Nigeria’s House of Representatives and not speaker for PDP’s parliament.

Besides, the clause that permits defection due to a division in a party is still in place. Did PDP recover from the division that led to what became known as the new PDP? When did the police become members of the House of Reps or the court of law in Nigeria? Our government should stop embarrassing Nigeria as a nation with these conducts reminiscent of banana republics…ghanaman signing out!”
